Spent 2 weeks in Tokyo and Osaka, the e sim worked find wherever I went. I set it up before leaving for japan so I would have internet as soon I landed. Very convenient and top value
SIM card for travel. I hoped to use it for texting, calling and wifi while in Portugal. Only the Wifi worked. Customer service with *** was only a bot-like response system and I got very little timely response and ultimately only partial remedy for my problems.
I have been a loyal customer of Sim Options since 2018, first used their travel SIM cards for several different countries (Europe, Asia and U.S.). I have recently tried their new eSIM products, as a 62 years old I was quite unaware this kind of technology existed but I couldn’t be happier with the eSIMs. As someone who travel frequently, Esim makes it easier to get data abroad without the need to swap between SIM cards. Here are the different esims I have used from simoptions and my ratings for each of them: - Bouygues My European Esim: used it for France and the package has excellent coverage and data package was more than enough for my usage (rating 10/10) - 10Gb three Esim for USA: very affordable at only 25 bucks, network coverage was great in Washington but was sometimes low in countryside (rating 8/10) - Orange holiday Esim 30gb: used this one for Europe ( Spain , Italy and Greece ). The Esim is flawless in term of coverage , data speed and unlimited calls within Europe (rating 10/10)

A bit trickier to activate than implied by the ad but doable. I could not get any connection at all when I was in Bar, Montenegro, but apart from that, this product did exactly what I needed it to for my recent family holiday in Europe. Good quality, reasonable price. You need to be a bit tech-savvy to set it up though.
