Skopje

Lake Ohrid


Surrounded by mountains and located on the border between Macedonia and Albania, Lake Ohrid is a spectacular tourist destination. Lake Ohrid is one of the oldest and deepest in Europe and is home to a large number of species that are endemic to the area, including the European eel and the Ohrid trout.
